The Mercure is a good hotel to choose. With a bit more imagination and investment it could be excellent. investment
The Mercure was well situated for access into the centre of Olbia. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the accommodation was clean and fresh.
The bedroom was a bit bare.

Unfortunately The air conditioning wasn’t working (imagine with a weather of 40 degrees) but the assistance was good, they provided us a fan and offer the refund of the money.

Great start in Sardinien
We arrived late in Olbia by plane and had booked 2 nights, before we went to explore the island. 10 min by car from the airport, and room was nice. Great, great swimmingpool and friendly staff in the pool bar (as well as reception). 5-10 min walk to main shopping street with plenty of shops and cafes/restaurants. Free parking at the hotel.
Breakfast could have been better, if there had been a wider selection of fresh fruit, f.ex melons or grapes, and the cappucchino in the self service machine was not good.
